How the Ford Fountain Team Grows in Gratitude

How the Ford Fountain Team Grows in Gratitude

November always invites reflection. Between the golden aspens, the first hints of winter, and the warmth of the holiday season, we find ourselves pausing to look back—with gratitude.

For us at the Ford Fountain Team, gratitude isn’t just a feeling. It’s a practice. It shapes the way we work, the way we serve, and the way we connect with our community.

1. We begin every week with gratitude.

Each Monday, before diving into contracts and closings, we share one thing we’re grateful for—whether it’s a smooth transaction, a client’s trust, or something as simple as a family dinner that made us smile. It centers us on why we do this work: to help people find home.

“We’ve found that starting with gratitude brings clarity — it reminds us why we do this work in the first place: to help people find home.”

2. We keep gratitude visible.

In our office, a small framed note reads “Start with thanks.” It’s more than décor—it’s a mindset. Our gratitude journal sits nearby, filled with moments big and small: client milestones, teamwork wins, and lessons learned. Each entry reminds us that progress is built on appreciation.

3. We practice gratitude through giving.

Every time we help someone find their home, we help someone else build theirs. Through our partnership with New Story Charity, we donate a portion of each closing to fund 3D-printed homes for families in need. Gratitude, to us, means paying forward the privilege of having a place to call home.

4. We find gratitude in the quiet moments.

In the busyness of Colorado real estate, we make time to pause—watching deer wander past a showing or sipping coffee before a day of appointments. Gratitude isn’t always grand; sometimes it’s found in the stillness between phone calls or in the view from a mountain road.

5. We celebrate our clients and community.

From handwritten thank-you notes to community events like our Annual Shred Event benefiting Disabled American Veterans, gratitude lives in connection. We believe success is sweeter when shared—and every client, partner, and neighbor plays a role in our story.

6. We express gratitude as a family.

Ford Fountain began as a mother–daughter partnership, and that foundation continues to inspire everything we do. Working together is both a privilege and a joy—and we’re deeply thankful for the chance to balance career, family, and purpose every day.

7. We choose gratitude in the hard seasons.

Not every transaction is seamless, and not every goal unfolds on schedule. But even in those moments, we look for perspective. Gratitude helps us see growth where others see challenge—it’s what keeps us moving forward with optimism and grace.

“Gratitude, for us, isn’t just something we feel. It’s how we work, how we serve, and how we live.”

A Note from Our Team

As we head into the holiday season, we’re thankful—for our clients, our community, and the countless stories we’ve been honored to be part of.
Every handshake, every sold sign, and every relationship reminds us that real estate is more than a business—it’s a shared journey of home and heart.

With gratitude,

The Ford Fountain Team
