With an additional location in Aspen, Hickory House is a crowd favorite with a homestyle, comfortable atmosphere, and amazing food. Another community favorite is the Tailgate Tavern. Serving American bar bites and drinks, this indoor and outdoor saloon-style venue is perfect for gathering with friends and family and enjoying live music, karaoke, and other fun events.


Parker Garage is an upscale New American restaurant serving a seasonal menu with creative cocktails. Around the corner is the Black + Haus Tavern which serves a menu of American standards as well as cocktails and an extensive wine and beer selection. The West Main Taproom and Grill has the best selection of locally brewed craft beer alongside American bar classics.


Downtown Parker is home to an excellent selection of local and national high-end shops. There are plenty of options for unique clothing for men and women, as well as gift shops featuring crafts and locally made art.

Things to Do

Parker is big on community and celebration. The Parker Days Festival celebrates summer life in Parker with amusement rides, delicious food, live music, and family-friendly fun. A tradition since the 1970s, it’s one of the town’s most-popular events. Parker celebrates the spooky season with the Halloween Porch Parade. Each home decorates its house, porch, and yard with spooky decorations that were added to a directory so residents can walk or drive and enjoy the decor with prizes awarded for the best decorations. The Mayor’s Holiday Lighting kicks off the winter season with caroling, lighting of the tree and park, ice sculptures, food vendors, and a visit from Santa.


O’Brien Park is a neighborhood classic in every season. As the main sight for celebrations like the Holiday Lighting, it’s the heart of the community. O’Brien Park also features a water park for children, a playground, basketball courts and walking paths. Parker has a beautiful farmers’ market that offers seasonal produce, meat, crafts, baked goods, and more. 


For a night out, the Parker Arts, Culture, and Events Center hosts performances of all kinds, from dance to plays and live music.
