Starting at sundown (about 9:30 p.m.) on Thursday, July 4, a high-flying, 15-minute fireworks show will shoot off from the former Acme Brick facility. You’ll know the fireworks are about to begin because there will be a three-shot salute to start the show. Best places to watch the show are from downtown, Metzler Ranch Community Park, Miller Activity Complex, Areas of the Red Hawk neighborhood, or Rock Park!

Traditionally, this nationwide event consists of neighborhoods hosting officers. In Castle Rock, we want to throw the party and showcase what makes the Castle Rock Police Department unique! Those in attendance will have a chance to interact with the various divisions and specialized units at CRPD, participate in a number of hands-on activities and watch demonstrations put on by members of our team. In addition, there will be plenty of giveaways for kids! Castle Rock Police will also be manning the grills, serving up free hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks to attendees.
2024 BMW Championship

The BMW Championship – the penultimate event in the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs – is set to be held Aug. 20-25, 2024. The event will mark the PGA TOUR’s return to Colorado, one decade after the 2014 BMW Championship at Cherry Hills Country Club. It’s been nearly 20 years since the PGA TOUR last stopped at Castle Pines Golf Club.
