A Keen Eye for Design
Prior to her role as a Top Producing Broker in the prestigious custom home community of The Village at Castle Pines, Wanda worked as the Sales and Marketing Director for a prominent homebuilder and was an integral part of that company’s success. There she achieved numerous Parade of Homes awards in the Timbers at the Pinery, further fueling her passion to exceed expectations.
In addition, Wanda owned and operated her own interior design firm, where she served as Principal Designer and Model Home Merchandiser. Today, she uses her keen eye for design to help buyers see the potential in a space, while assisting homeowners with expert staging techniques that sell.
From premiere architects and builders, to top-tier interior designers, Wanda arms clients with trusted resources to help them flawlessly reach their dream of custom homeownership. Wanda’s strong attention to detail, and Ninja Training, means she is able to close complex contract negotiations, while thoughtfully advising clients on one of the most important financial investments they will ever make.
Giving Back
Wanda continually makes it a priority to give back to her local community and beyond. By donating a portion of her commission to the New Story Charity she is able to reach beyond Colorado and support the non-profit organization that is pioneering solutions to address global homelessness.
Wanda proudly served on the board of the Sales & Marketing Council of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver, as well as Fundraising Chair and committee member for numerous non-profit organizations including Dress for Success, BabiesNow, Disabled American Veterans, Douglas County Teen Moms, Castle Rock Players, Catholic Schools of Denver and Zonta. Wanda is the chairperson for the Outreach Committee of the Village at Castle Pines Garden Club, and loves keeping active in the neighborhood.
Outside of work, she is a proud grandmother of four, and enjoys worldwide traveling, hiking, and watercolor painting. Wanda believes that real estate is more than a transaction, it’s a relationship, and her association with the Sotheby’s International Realty brand is paramount to her success in globally marketing the distinguished residences of Douglas County.

Native Roots
Kathryn Fountain was born, raised and educated in the beautiful state of Colorado. With two parents working in real estate, her childhood provided a unique experience of learning the inner workings of the real estate industry. From speaking the lingo to understanding the importance of relationships and dedication, Kathryn had a front row seat! After earning her degree in Business Marketing from Colorado State University, she obtained her real estate license in 2009 and began working alongside her mother during the economic downturn. Kathryn was able to truly immerse herself in the industry while learning many valuable aspects of the business. For the next nine years, she worked as both a marketing director and an active broker simultaneously, utilizing her marketing expertise and expanding her skillset. Kathryn believes that these years allowed her to truly understand the value of mindfully marketing properties as well as finding unique ways for buyers and sellers to stay competitive in a challenging market.
Passion for Community
Community involvement remains at the core of Kathryn’s life. Building the DTC Young Professionals sector of the Chamber of Commerce has been an opportunity that allows her to support local businesses while empowering young professionals in their careers. In 2013, Kathryn was voted, by her peers, as the Young Professional of the Year.
More Than Buying and Selling
As a Realtor®, Kathryn has found what she cherishes most are personal connections with clients. Her belief that a home is much more than walls, brick and mortar allows her to truly listen to her clients and work alongside them to find properties that meet both their wants and needs. “It is so gratifying to serve clients, at any point in their lives; helping them find their special place to enjoy loved ones, celebrate milestones, expand their family or grow old,” Kathryn says.
Soaking It All In
Living in Colorado has fostered Kathryn’s passion for the outdoors and adventure activities. Kathryn feels that spending time in nature provides clarity and centers her spirit, which supports her goal of being fully present with both her family and in her career. Whether mountain biking, on the golf course or skiing on a bluebird day, you will find Kathryn, her husband, daughter and golden retriever outside at every opportunity!
